Includes interviews with Afghan MPs: Ramazon Bashardost, famous for his anti-corruption politics, and Shukria Barakzai, famous as a writer of Afghanistan’s constitution. Based on a visit to Kabul in March 2013.
Justin Podur is one of the authors of the newly published book, edited by Jerome Klassen and Greg Albo, Empire’s Ally: Canada and the War in Afghanistan (University of Toronto Press, 2012).
