The Greater Toronto Workers’ Assembly (GTWA) presents a forum with Hassan Husseini, candidate for the Presidency of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC).
Hassan Husseini is a long-time social justice activist and trade unionist with roots in CUPE and Unifor who is running for the presidency of the CLC, shares his views on how to make the CLC a strong and militant leader of the trade union movement in Canada and organize the wider working class to fight effectively for social and economic justice.

Postscript: Husseini withdrew from the race on the third day of the convention, and Hassan Yussuff went on to get elected with 2318 votes to Ken Georgetti’s 2278.
