This October marks one year since Palestinian people in Gaza showed the world that they will continue to resist their continued displacement and dispossession by their colonizer. As we approach the one year mark of Israel’s genocide on Gaza, we salute the Palestinian people’s steadfastness and resistance. The people of Toronto marched in the streets on October 5th starting at Yonge and Dundas Square, for this international day of action!
In the span of one year, the Gaza Health Ministry has released the names of over 40,000 dead, with updated projections estimating over 189,000. Yet amidst this genocide, people in Gaza, across Palestine, and across the world remain steadfast in their resistance.
