Mara Fridell is a Political Economist and Political Sociologist who teaches social theory in the Sociology Department of the University of Manitoba. Her work is propelled by a lifelong curiosity about the distributional effects of inegalitarian institutions on human and ecological development. She is co-author with Ian Hudson and Mark Hudson of Fair Trade, Sustainability and Social Change (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2013).
