Saturday, March 8 is International Women’s Day and, for the 47th year, Toronto’s International Women’s Day March and Rally brought crowds to the streets of Toronto, as supporters raised their voices for gender equality and social justice.

“This year’s rally theme is ‘Fighting for Our Lives. Building Our Resistance’ because, with the multiple crises facing us right now, it is essential that we all come together to build solidarity,” said rally organizer Anna Liu.
