William Morris, Leon Trotsky, Rosa Luxemburg, C. L. R. James, George Orwell: different kinds of socialists, but all were pamphleteers, writing to shape public opinion in times of social unrest.

The socialist tradition is rich in pamphleteers, and the SP embraces and continues this tradition of do-it-yourself (DIY) media making.

Our pamphlets aim to engage with and intervene in important political debates happening among Left thinkers and activists across Canada, and worldwide.

Over the years, we’ve created, published and distributed a print pamphlets on topics such as the global financial crisis, public healthcare, the Arab Spring, authoritarian neoliberalism, and more.

We share our pamphlets at events. We also digitize our pamphlets, so they can be read, downloaded and used by everyone.

Our pamphlets are regularly used in education and organizing.
